Puerto Vallarta continúes to grow. Each and every time I visit I see changes, improvements and hear about new resorts opening in the seaside destination. From the growth of its sister city, Nuevo Vallarta, to more top end resorts opening in Puerto Vallarta, the destination is growing despite Mexico’s main stream media issues. The tourism industry knows Puerto Vallarta is wonderful destination to visit on holiday. The tourists seem to agree and so do I.
Hard Rock Hotel to Open in Puerto Vallarta
The all-inclusive collection of the Vallarta Palace resorts will reflag to the to Hard Rock Hotels on August 1, 2012. This means the arrival of Mexico’s first Hard Rock Hotels and one will be in Puerto Vallarta (the other in Cancun).

The Hard Rock Hotel plans to blend luxurious style and substance with Hard Rock’s spirit of rock n’ roll. These Hard Hotels (Cancun and Puerto Vallarta) will join Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic as the only all inclusive Hard Rock Hotels in the world.
The Hard Rock Hotel Puerto Vallarta location is a beachfront property in Riviera Nayarit is an all-inclusive luxury stay that includes in-room double Jacuzzis, fine dining, top-shelf drinks, 24-hour room service, live entertainment and more. The hotel will also offer Rock Star Suites (nice) and will showcase an extensive collection of authentic memorabilia from international and local music artists. And in keeping with the Hard Rock tradition, each property will host an ongoing schedule of live concerts, celebrity-driven events and other exciting on-site activities.

So when I read about such resorts opening in Puerto Vallarta, I take notice and I wanted to share with you that the destination is growing. Of course I hope it grows properly and doesn’t overdevelop, but it is important to know it is growing as a destination. That’s important.
