Puerto Vallarta Restaurant Week Returns for 2012

by Craig Zabransky on May 21, 2012

Puerto Vallarta welcomed back Restaurant Week for its 2012 edition on May 15th. The seaside destination, often considered one of the premier dining destinations in all of Mexico, will offer visitors and locals alike a chance to sample many of its finest dining establishments with special pre-fixe menus from May15th-May31st (for 17 days).

Diners select from multiple options on three different courses (appetizer, entree, dessert) and can expect to pay either $189 MXN or $299 MXN (~$15 or $25 USDs) depending on the time of day and restaurant. Also drinks and tips are not included in the set price.

Started in 2005, the event continues to grow and be a success. This year six new restaurants joined the crow to make the full list forty-five in total. Also, each neighborhood is represented including Riviera Nayarit.
