Luxury Vacations - Villas, Resorts & Hotels

Puerto Vallarta Travel & Lodging Vacation Packages.

Puerto Vallarta offers a tremendous variety of lodging types for those who travel abroad.  People seeking seclusion and privacy can choose from among hundreds of villas.  Some of these are equivalent in cost to a hotel room, while others are custom homes that represent the epitome of the high life.  Hotels of all varieties populate the central areas near the open markets of Old Town PV and the beach.  All-Inclusive Resorts blend activities, entertainment, and GT-class hotel service into one predictable price point.

Regardless of where you ultimately choose to stay in Puerto Vallarta, you can count on scenic views of the sea, the mountains, and some of the best traditional architecture that any tourist destination in Mexico has to offer.

Puerto Vallarta Tours

For adventure lovers who would rather take a tour to a remote destination than stand elbow-to-elbow with all the other tourists, there really is no place in the world like Puerto Vallarta.  Travel out to see to watch humpback whales swim into the Bay of Banderas to give birth to their calves, or travel along the shore to watch the playful antics of Sea Lions.  Go snorkeling or scuba diving on any number of boats, or go across the Bay for an evening of traditional dance, music, and dinner on the beach.  If the jungle is your passion, there are dozens of eco tours that will take you into the heart of the wilderness to study one of the most diverse ecosystems in North America.

Puerto Vallarta Fishing

Sport fishing is excellent anywhere in Mexico, and Puerto Vallarta is no exception.  The best time for Marlin fisherman to come here is between the months of August and November and March and April.  Fishing for Pacific Sailfish is excellent year round, and Dorado and Yellowfin Tuna fishing is good throughout the summer.

Puerto Vallarta Water Sports

The Bay of Banderas is the second largest bay in North America.  Over 40 beaches line its shores.  North of Puerto Vallarta, you can travel to snorkeling and surfing hotspots where the wind and water conditions are ideal for fast activity on the water.  If tranquility is more on your itinerary, then head south along the shoreline to the beaches that lie at the foot of the Sierra Madre Mountains.  Here, rocky coves create very still water and secluded spots that are perfect for sunbathing, conversation, or a comfortable swim.

Traditional Culture

Perhaps no major tourist destination in Mexico offers you the richness of traditional culture the way Puerto Vallarta does.  Travel here exposes you to old Spanish architecture, remote Mexican villages where the simple life means the good life, and a rich tapestry of local history and art interwoven among the trappings of luxury and activity.

Weddings

If you are looking to get married in Mexico, consider Puerto Vallarta.  Travel packages of all kinds can be purchased that include lodgings, catering, and event planning services.  Event planners can assist you in finding lodgings for guests, and they can handle every detail of the ceremony and reception afterward.
